The 2012 Rezendes Lecture: Food Inc. The Ethics of How We Eat

The Honors College is pleased to announce that the 2012 John M. Rezendes Visiting Scholar in Ethics Lecture will be given by the award-winning film and television screenwriter, director, and producer Robert Kenner. The lecture will take place on Thursday, April 19th at 3:30pm in Hauck Auditorium located in the Memorial Union.

Kenner’s talk “Food, Inc. The Ethics of How We Eat” will focus on his documentary film, Food, Inc., which examines large-scale agricultural food production in the United States. Kenner’s work has played a prominent role in the national discussion of environmental sustainability, food safety, and the treatment of animals and employees.

The John M. Rezendes Ethics Lecture was established to critically engage students,
faculty members and the surrounding community with ethical issues of national importance (Click for more info).
