Honors Student Athletes Recognized

 

On Feb. 1, 2016 the UMaine Athletic Depart celebrated the 27th annual Scholar-Athlete Recognition Ceremony. Since 1989, Scholar-Athlete Awards have been given annually to student-athletes who have earned a 3.0 or better GPA in the previous spring and fall semesters and/or have maintained a 3.0 or better accumulative GPA.

2015 Rising Stars were presented to student-athletes who earned a 3.0 or better in their first semester at the University of Maine.  

Honors students represented 29 of the 297 athletes recognized.
