Honors and Biomedical Engineering Student Betelhem Abay featured in UMaine News

UMaine News recently featured Honors student Betelhem Abay in an article where she discusses her important research to combat kidney failure and cancer. She studies biomedical engineering and is currently in the process of finishing up her Honors thesis on a related topic. Among Betelhem’s many accomplishments, this past fall the Honors College awarded her the Carolyn E. Reed Pre-Medical Honors Thesis Fellowship to help her pursue her research.
