Each fall the Honors College about 15 students to the annual meetings of the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC). This conference usually takes place in late October and allows our students to take part in an academic conference while exploring a vibrant city.
The spring (and we use that term loosely) trips to D.C. were always something Honors looked forward to. The two fourteen hour bus rides are sure to provide some good stories, and some bad movies.
Starting in the Fall of 2012, the conceptual idea for Charlie’s Terrace had started floating around, and by the start of classes in the Fall of 2013, the Terrace was open and being used as an outdoor classroom and gathering space.
