The University of Maine was recently accepted into the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Science Education Alliance (SEA), according to the UMaine News Blog.  Starting in the 2011-12 academic year, first-year Honors students will have the opportunity to participate in genetic research as part of this program.  Read more….

A Charles V. Stanhope ’71 Study Abroad Fellowship is available for 2011-2012! The fellowship is intended to encourage students to study abroad as a means to expand their horizons through the exposure to and understanding of different cultures.
