Remembering Sam Schuman, Honors Director ’77-’81

The Honors Community is saddened to announce the passing of Sam Schuman, who was a director of the University of Maine Honors program between 1977 and 1981. After leaving the UMaine campus, he joined the faculty at Guilford College, then became Chancellor of the University of North Carolina Asheville.
