Honors Celebration
Honors Celebration is arguably the most exciting Honors College tradition.On the morning of the day before commencement, all of the Honors graduates, their advisors, and families and friends gather to celebrate the achievements of our graduates and to share a hearty brunch. At the ceremony, after remarks and recognition of several special undergraduate award winners, the Dean recognizes each graduate, calling them individually to the front of the room while announcing their thesis title. The advisor then presents the student with their Honors Medallion, and the student is given an Honors Stein and an Honors graduation certificate.
We cannot express in words the feelings of pride and pleasure that are associated with celebrating such accomplishments of our Honors students each year.
