Jinlun Bai ’14 (Biology) was the Outstanding Student (and Outstanding International Student) in the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry & Agriculture
Gwen Beacham ’15 (Molecular and Cellular Biology) was awarded a Goldwater Scholarship

Kate Spies ’15 (English) was the winner of the John M. Rezendes Ethics Essay Competition. The two other finalists were Abigail Feuka ’16 (Wildlife Ecology) and Priscilla Langlais ’17 (Animal and Veterinary Science)
Morgan Gustin ’16 (Animal and Veterinary Science) and Hilary Warner-Evans ’16 (Anthropology) were both recipients of the George J. Mitchell Peace Scholarship
Kimberly Dao ’14 (Biology) and Bryer Sousa ’16 (Chemistry) were both recipients of the Maine Campus Compact Heart and Soul Award
Honors College students Danielle Walczak ’15 (Journalism), Gwen Beacham ’15 (Molecular and Cellular Biology), Tyler Roy’15 (Psychology), Julia Sell ’15 (Physics), Katrina Harris ’15 (Microbiology), Torey Bowser ’15 (Marine Sciences), and Amy Fish (Animal and Veterinary Science) were all awarded CUGR summer fellowships
Hina Hashmi ‘ 15 (Microbiology) was awarded the Rezendes Global Service Scholarship
Mary Borer ’15 (Social Work) is the recipient of the Charles V. Stanhope Study Abroad Fellowship
Kim Dao ’14 is the first recipient of the Carolyn Reed Medical Scholarship to study medicine at Tufts University

Dr. Mimi Killinger, Rezendes Preceptor for the Arts, University of Maine Summer Faculty Research Award 2014 for “The Old Man Still Travels: Profile on a Friend of Cuba“
