The Honors College has grown in size, scope, and impact over the last 85+ years because of the hard work of our students, the dedication of our faculty, the accomplishments of our graduates, and the generosity of our friends.  From the four original Honors graduates in 1937 to the members of our current classes researching and writing their theses each year – we have come a long way.

Legacy Bricks

Legacy Bricks, placed on Charlie’s Terrace, commemorate your time at the Honors College! The Honors College Legacy Fund was established in 2013 to provide the Honors community a means of creating a lasting acknowledgment of student achievement, faculty mentoring, and memorable experiences in Honors. Personalized bricks are displayed in Charlie’s Terrace. Please join our tradition and cement your Honors College memories.  A gift of $150 supports one Honors College Legacy Brick.

Donations to the Honors Legacy Fund are used to support ongoing programming for students in Honors: research support, travel to conferences, and student-run activities. It is because of gifts from supporters like you that the Honors College can continue to offer a world-class, community-engaged learning experience for more than 700 University of Maine students.
