Honors Students Receive Servant Heart Scholarships
Congratulations to Honors students Emma Freeman and Annie Hanley-Miller for receiving the Servant Heart Scholarship through the University of Maine Bodwell Center for Service and Volunteerism. This scholarship is intended to “benefit students who connect public service with their academic work and who apply practical solutions to real-world problems.”
Emma is a senior Microbiology major with a minor in Psychology, recognized for her active service as the President of the University of Maine Operation HEARTS and member of Partners for World Health and the Black BearTHON. Annie is a junior Social Work major who has long been involved with Youth Empowerment and Spirituality (YES), working as the registrar for their annual conference this year.
Way to go, Emma and Annie!
