DiSpirito ’22 Chosen as Finalist for Prestigious Truman Scholarship
Congratulations to junior Honors student and political science major Dominique DiSpirito, who was recently chosen as a finalist for the prestigious Truman Scholarship!
As one part of her outstanding involvement on campus, Dominique is an active member of the Honors community. She is the president of the Honors College Student Advisory Board, an Honors Ambassador, and member of the Honors Council.
The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation awards its merit-based scholarships to college juniors pursuing public service careers. Recipients can receive up to $30,000 for graduate or professional school, and earn access to leadership development activities and special opportunities for internships and employment with the federal government.
If awarded, the scholarship will help Dominique pay to attend Yale Law School, where she plans to pursue a J.D. in Public Interest Law and a Master’s of Environmental Management.
