Jonathan Barron

Education: B.A., Tufts University; M.A., Ph.D., Indiana University.
Biography: Jonathan Barron moved to Maine in 2022, after spending more than twenty years as an English faculty member at the University of Southern Mississippi. While in Mississippi, he edited The Robert Frost Review, a scholarly journal, and directed The Robert Frost Society.
Publications: In addition to articles on Robert Frost and other modern and contemporary poets, Dr. Barron is also the author of How Robert Frost Made Realism Matter and the co-edited book, Roads Not Taken: Rereading Robert Frost. He is also a scholar of Jewish American literature; in addition to articles on that topic, he co-edited Jewish American Poetry: Poems, Commentary, and Reflections.
