Students and Faculty Return from NCHC

From Wednesday, November 5 to Sunday, November 9, 26 people from Honors, including students, faculty, and staff traveled to Denver, Colorado for the 2014 National Collegiate Honors Council conference. The UMaine Honors College had one of the strongest representations of schools across the country. Students and faculty, often together, displayed incredible work through presentations, discussions, and posters on topics ranging from hermit culture in Maine to curriculum diversity to international partnerships with other colleges. Everyone also enjoyed the sights and tastes of Denver, with some of the group heading off to Boulder and others sticking around to explore 16th Street. After many hours of plane and bus rides there and back, these people deserve a hearty congratulations and a long night of sleep!
